Geneva is a great place for NGOs to begin their UN adventure. While internationally well-known, Geneva is also very manageable in size. It boasts a clean, efficient and affordable public transportation system, facilitating regular access to and from Geneva, as well as the downtown area. In addition, Geneva offers a range of comfortable accommodation options.

Coming to Geneva allows for crucial networking, including participation in the often collective work of UN statement preparation and/or co-sponsorship, and attendance at various parallel events that take place during the human rights council.
